Do you have a side view of this? It looks like the Tyco Rebound from when I was a kid! Flip it over and keep on running.

How does it do turning?
I didn't have one but now I do!

This one couldn't quite roll upside down. Even with the wing removed the shock tower is too tall.. I remember those cars you're talking about though!

It does better with turning now that I put my hub extensions on Kraton hubs and threw a proper Savox servo in it. It was a little too narrow of an angle to turn effectively with only the extensions and the stock servo couldn't even manage it then.

Well, it barely could but it wouldn't have for long so I just went ahead and retired it while it could still serve another purpose. Lol

Oh, and I blew out one of those belted power hobby tires on the warm up for my 26T pinion speed test today. Threw me completely off the road like I hit a land mine. I got it on the gopro I think.

Pretty sure the tire will glue up ok for more bashing but no more onroad.....so they're going back on the shelf until I get this speed run thing out of my system. Lol.

That thing is awesome man. My favorite RC growing up was the Tyco Rebound and I’ve always wanted to make a Hobby grade version and this is almost there lol. Don’t know how I would handle the suspension though ?.

I would imagine it’s pretty stable too?

Bought this thing brand new ? but I’m pretty sure it’s going to stay a shelf queen sadly never to see dirt haha
That's an awesome looking rig. Good find.

One more for this thread. I also got this used Tekno EB410 I hope to setup eventually with some electronics and paint the body. Some new wheels and tires. probally do a budget setup with a esc/motor used race setup or modified. And I bought this used Tekno EB48.4. The Typhon wheels don't fit they rub the hub on the inside of the wheel. I replaced the blown rear diff in it. It’s going to be a castle motor/esc setup as I’ll use it for some light track duty non-competitive and a 1/8 buggy Basher. I’ll say the Tekno stuff is well made! Really happy with these two used purchases both were a steal of a deal. The HPI Baja 5B is mine I’ve had it for years now. The engine is tired so Ive decided I’m going to do an electric swap in this one and put some massive power to it for sand. Paddles and all. See if I can run it on 8s or 12s type of setup. ive seen a few on YouTube they look Insanely fun, wheelies are any speed.
