But to answer your question? It’s completely out of control for me full throttle unless I’m going straight on a parking lot. Hence the hoons and sparingly running it. It really will get away from you if you’re not careful. lol. But I love going fast. So I’ll be looking for an indoor track close to Clarkston Mi for the 3S practice as I want to get into racing. Then run my TLR on 4S and have hopefully made a friend at the track to help me tune it.

But I’ve learned…. This hobby and sport isn’t for the poor or weak of heart. It’s why I’m building a small workshop. Wrenching just a little was so satisfying. I only replaced my 3S shock tower and did the diff. And a new stock shock.

I watched that video about jumping someone posted where the guy had the throttle and truck split screen and practiced. Broke stuff. Fixed stuff! But the speed of this on 6S is going to be just fine for the straight line runs and drifting. But I have zero track experience and I don’t want to bash it because it’s just so damn pretty in my opinion! Lol. Thanks for asking. Btw. I apologize for rambling. I’m just new.

No need to apologize.talk your heart away bud.i come here for knowledge and to help others so reading is part of it.i enjoy it.🤟😁👍.I'm just a low key speed runner..and I don't do any off road bashing just isn't my thing .I enjoy modding and building rc street machine's.i haven't passed 3s power yet and 4s will be all I really need to achieve my speed goal in my build project.geared correctly with the right set up I should be able to hit my 100mph goal easily.many say don't sleep on a 4s system.thanks for getting back to my questions🤟😁👍

I have seen many hit 100 on a 3s system but I have not been able to and i know I won't because I added way to much weight to my build.so now I need 4s to make up for the added weight.
Even if I don't ever hit 100mph .I'm very happy with mid 70s to 80s.to me that's already fast enough and just amazing to hear it scream as it passes by me.makes my heart race fast and gets me super excited with a 😁 on my face .as long as I don't crash 🤟😁👍

Here is my 2023 project- I sold my Kraton 6s EXB and bought a Typhon 6s V5 and converted it into a Senton 6s (keeping the Typhon A arms and wider stance). It runs and handles amazing!

I add some Typhon TLR parts to it but so far it handles great! I love the look of the Senton 6s body.

One thing I did different than others. I didn’t cut the Typhon shock towers to fit the Senton Body mounts. I just used the dremel tool and cut away the plastic on the body mounts until it fit the stock Typhon Shock towers.

This Senton looks amazing and handles awesome with the wider stance. Right now I am just using a 4s battery, and it still seems plenty fast. I am going to take it to the park and do some jumping. My Kraton EXB was crazy- would do standing backflips but a little much in my opinion. I am not trying to tear things up.

I did put together the stock rear bumper, with a bottoms RPM skid plate, but I put an EXB front bumper on which has a skid plate integrated in it. I also added the skid bars to the roof for protection.

I haven’t added the side nerf bars or middle body roll bars. I might add those later but did add clear gorilla tape to the interior for extra body protection.

I might add the TLR shocks, but for now it is good! We will see about the stock Typhon tires too, for now no problems on 4s.

I got my Typhon 6s on sale for $399 at Hobbytown because I was tempted to get a Slash Ultimate for $499. The sale price convinced me to do the conversion.

Thanks man! Nothing too special- m2c kraton chassis, Mojave a arms to make it wider, MOJO shocks & wheels too- so it's kind of a Mojave on a kraton chassis w/ a typhon body 😁 Wing mount is @3d-rc.myshopify.com - best/ most robust in the business. Hobbywing 4985 1650kv max6 combo for a heart
I absolutely love driving this thing, it's been my go to rig for a while now

Photoshop at it's finest. Rc art is my latest hobby. Takes abut 45 minutes to get them to where I like them enough to post.
