Lets see your old original cars

I just got my associated rc18t back up and running and i was wondering what other cool older cars people have on here, Perhaps even older than my rc18t. Heres a couple pics of my original V1 rc18t.
The other pics are of my very first rc car i ever got 25 years or so ago when i was 7 or 8. Its an original hpi nitro mt. Clearly back thrn i didnt clean things after every run like i do now. I would assume it doesn't run but who knows. I haven't driven it it probably 20+ years. The body is the very first body i painted that my dad helped me with. The shocks even feel like they still have oil in them.

Nice cars for sure @carckton driver! I always wanted to go nitro but never did...

My main one (still have it today) was a tamiya f103rs. Was fast enough for its time and remember dropping over $100 for a 3000 mAh nihm... Spent many summers driving with my buddy who had a f103. Hit a pebble and these things flew! That pic is about 5 years old but still runs good.

I had a tamiya mad fighter too. I had thought about 3S'ing that one before I broke down and bought a Typhon 3S...don't regret that decision.... My brother @Phantom21 had the same chassis and rolled over me on that one...I paid him back this year when I broke his MT-10 so we're even now

Come to think of it, my son and I collided today...I broke his shock the same damn way!

thats cool unfortunately i don't remember prices from 25 or so years ago when my parents bought me that hpi but i do remember i paid $100 for that rc18t, that i bought used with that castle brushless system, in 2010

Yeah... typo, not $1000 but $100... I was a jobless teenager. Yeah though kits were just around $100-$200. F103rs had carbon fiber plates for the chassis, remember that being cool for its time..

I've posted this in a couple of other threads, but here it is one more time for posterity. This is my Team Losi JRX-Pro from 1990, with period correct Team Novak T-4 ESC & NER-2X micro receiver and Futaba S132H servo.

The red/black one was my first hobby grade rc truck that I bought myself for my birthday back in 2015, the blue/grey one I bought less than a month later. Fast forward to today and I still have the blue/grey one but I sold the red/black one years ago then recently bought another one to try and find a solution to the fatal flaw of the platform, I was unsuccessful in that attempt however. I currently have 23 cars.

Original RC10 Gold pan converted to Graphite chassis

I still have the gold pan (I grilled cheesed it though ), original wheels/tires and packaging box ,somewhere..

And, I have a Navok ESC and a Futaba one also.. probably in the box.

Hornet was the 1st…then the Blackfoot came along….started cleaning them up and trying to get them runable again but 40 yr old plastic is brittle

Seeing the Blackfoot just brought back a ton of memories. My first car was my dad's old Frog, which is pretty much the same car, just as a buggy. Wish I had kept it..

I need to get some pictures but I have a Tamiya TA02 stadium truck, it was my first RC when I was maybe 9? my daughter runs it now, its an onroad 2wd with a Supra body. I bought my first nitro an RS43 not long after I think it was around $300 I cut a lot of lawns to pay for that thing, my neighbors had nitros too and we would be out there all day running them
