Rain and waiting for my new ESC made me go all out on my 3D printed chassis parts.

Concept I'd like to share is my first version of lightweight arches. Inspired by my cousin who asked me to print easy foldable origami sheets and me needing something low weight to keep rocks from entering the car. I figured i could print a very thin sheet with some folding lines and clamping it in a rail dictating the form. It turned out pretty nice for a first attempt. It's still guesswork what it will do in terms of aero and cooling.

I always start with PLA prototyping and only switch to PETG or realFlex when required. I kept this one on PLA.

The thin sheets do require a low layerhight. I used 3x0.16mm for the folding lines, and 6x0.16 for the surface
