any recommendations ? something with long range for sure , what about gyro , stability control ?

Futaba is the only name with range over 1200 ft

The 3PV is a cheaper radio around $120 I have done runs around 100mph with this radio with zero dropped connections.
Some of the older models are preferred by the guys doing 150+mph Like the 3PM which runs about $160.00
I suspect the vertical antenna is what helps on these. Claims are up to 1600 ft with these models.

Gyro's can be added independent from the radio system. SkyRc makes a simple one for $20 bucks or less I believe.

I have a 4pm and love it. Thanks to the forum I'll be using a Skyrc gyro on my infraction once my new receiver is delivered. I know use this radio for all my ARRMA rigs.

I found the limit of my Radiolink RC6GS and it’s not as far as I’d hoped. Time to fix the antenna and see if I can get more range before buying something more expensive.
