Should i shimm the right bearing ? You can see, it can slide on the shaft much.
I am using pps motor mount.

Do you would/ have shimmed bearing?

Not familiar with the v2 Pinocchio spools, but I'd say it won't matter if the other bearing is in a fixed position...

Fore and aft play after install would be the determining factor if shims are needed..

it has juuust a little bit of play...
but i am worried if, under load the bearing will move
idk why they made such big loosen bearingspace

So that would confirm that one bearing is in a fixed position, a little play is fine, or you can shim it out...

The "floating" bearing is mostly irrelevant as it's also fixed in the mount once installed..

yes the left side (front is barely play free)

Yeah it's all by design.. only one of the bearings controls the thrust or "end play" of the spool.. from an engineering and manufacturing angle it's a smart approach for a mass produced product...

I had to shim a Scorched spool in a PPS mount. They even include the shims. I thought this was pretty much SOP? I always shim the center whether it has a spool or a diff.
