Does anyone use something like this for charging and storage? Thinking of buying one. I have a lipo bag but don't always take all my batterys with me when going out or am I just as well to buy another bag?

I bought a 50 cal used ammo box. I had seen people saying they use them and I found one for $10. I saw other boxes similar being sold for $100+

I would imagine that would work ok. Ammo cans are so much cheaper though.

Bought a 30mm ammo can online for 16 bucks. Drilled some holes on top for ventilation and then on the sides for the wires. I plan on putting them in a lipo bag and then in the ammo can when charging.

I think it came out okay. Doesn't look the greatest, but as long as it works. I'm just surprised my neighbor didn't call the police on me, as it probably looks like I was building a bomb!!

Here's one I made out of a 50cal box from harbor freight with a 1-6s balance board using some xt60 and balance cable extensions, and some 3D printed trays and charger plugin port on the outside.

I have a couple ammo boxes with rubber removed and 8 holes drilled for travel, but for home I had this 30” long tool box that I added 1/2” cement board tapped with metal foil tape. There is foam beads in cement board, so I tapped the edges, hardy board brand might not have them and be a better choice, $15 for a 3’x5’ sheet,

I now store mine in ammo can and sometimes charge in lipo sack.
