Just found this, haven't seen it posted here. This isn't even comparable to the M2C chassis upgrade. But may be an improvement or "enough" for some. Appears to be around $65.00 for the complete kit. I happened upon a YT video from someone that installed these and was pleased. First I've heard of this and wanted to pass along.

Compared to as much as $200 for a new 7075 chassis, this looks like a functional inexpensive alternative. Depends how you plan on driving your 8S. I think this would work for most. The only problem with the CF plate is that it will wear down and splinter and fracture over time. CA is generally used to repair chips and cracks. That happened to my CF Pan car chassis. And that was only On-Road. But CF if cross-laid well enough can last I imagine. But it wont look pretty for long.:LOL:
