Theres a 20 year old kid whos into RC's that works on my fabrication crew. He really likes the electric stuff as its trouble free for him....ya know, throw it down and go go go. He told me he had a couple nitro rc's he bought but wasnt experienced with them. He bought them used and couldnt fix them so i just gave him 200 bucks for the whole lot.

I got a complete Traxxas Revo and a Traxxas Jeto with the radios and a pretty substantial pile of misc parts.

Somebody bashed them up pretty good. The Jeto is complete, nothing broke. He says it runs but it wouldnt move. Probably a clutch issue...haven't dug into it yet. The Jeto will be the first one i fix first because it doesn't need much. Its pretty much a rc-10 on steroids....two wheel drive, 65 mph, 3.3 motor, 2 speed tranny...yea come on. :)

The Revo needs a lot of work. Somebody broke a shock, mucked with the receiver on it, lots of missing nuts here and there....not sure what was going on. That will be a project for later. This truck also has the 3.3 and a 2 speed tranny.

So, a couple future build threads on the way. :D

Oh man.. those 3.3's are good little engines.. raise the port timing on them things and lower the squish and those things will double stage the pipe and pull hard!...

Had a lot of fun modding those engines for people back in the day.. 😎

I may be asking for some advice from ya before its done with. :)

Crapsucks 3.3 engines are total garbage. 3-4 gallon engine max with a non leaking front bearing or carb. A PT sleeve and no head shim, rods split in about a gallon.

Nice score OP, with a little money you’ll be rolling soon.

😂, nobody said they lasted a long time.. 😂.. we rebuilt them every gallon.. 😂.. had to, to stay competitive in boat racing.. 👍
