Arrma RC's
  1. Kraton 6s
  2. Typhon 6s
  3. Typhon TLR
Since I’ve built this XL Kraton, I’ve been working on making it ā€œbulletproofā€ I’ve snapped multiple pins off of rear dogbones so I upgraded to m2c. I have now broken 2 stock outdrive EXB V2 cups. Decided to just go m2c for those as wellšŸ˜ŽšŸ¤˜

wonder if its something to do with the aluminium diff cases why the outdrives are breaking all the time I've never broke a outdrive in eight years running 6s arrma's

Yeah, this is the only rig I’ve ever had it happen on. It could be the aluminum cases, or just softer metal cups. Really unsure to be honest. But I figured might as well upgrade given it’s happened twice now. This truck is very built anyways

I'm going for the bulletproof route. Only need the cups for the centre diff now but M2C ones are spot on so far šŸ‘šŸ»
Heck yeah man! That’s wicked. Good to know

A friend a few hours from me, has both EXB & a BLX. Has broken the EXB ones. Said the outdrives are longer in the EXB & contact the dogbones under compression & the outdrive will snap.

Your drive cups are being pried apart by your driveshafts. If your drive cups don't break then you'll bend your driveshafts instead. Until you limit your travel to stay within the maximum exit angle of your drive cups this will always be a problem.

I have the m2c cups on my talion EXB not run it much though only reason I got the m2c cups was because they are cheaper than the stock EXB cups
