Mamba Monster X on Nero & data logging

So im running a MMX on my Nero w/ diff brain and also a Castle Link for programming and pulling data logs.

I've been trying to find the sweet spots for everything but I cant figure out the motor temp in the logging. The motor temp readings always start at around 1 degree F and spike around but only negative?? For example the last run I did the minimum temp was -55F and the maximum was 0. Is this a common thing that any others here have experienced? The ESC temps btw read normal data, starting around ambient temp and reaching about 150 on a long bashing or track run.

I emailed castle and they haven't responded yet. They're probably inundated with emails from the holiday sales.

Yah I'm pretty sure I can't get motor temp without a sensored motor or an external stick on motor temp wire

For all I knew, you could be running a temp sensor. In that case, we could have worked the problem.

Then again, as a mechanic I have fixed customers cars that wouldn't start by just putting gas in them.

You have to ask the dumb questions first... like "is there gas in your tank?" or else you're dropping fuel tanks and replacing fuel pumps for no reason

Can you send a picture on how you connected the Mamba Monster X to the Nero receiver with diff brain?
