Ok the time of saving up for a new project has come.
I have been planning for some time and decided to not build another 1/24 like I originally planned.

I am about to purchase what I need to start the project and would love some feedback from all of you.
I'm looking for your thoughts on best brands for parts such as strongest axles, best aluminum hubs and knuckles...and such.
I have parts in carts waiting to hit 'buy now.' I'm really open to your suggestions on what I should change, keep, or not bother with or if I'm about to order a wrong part.
Your input is invaluable to me.

The ESC/Motor combo will bring out the "wtf are you doing?!" from some of you, and that's ok because the answer is I DON'T KNOW!

I'm keeping some things about the build top secret for now

I've been back and for between the Scorched or Vitavon knuckles and rear hubs.

Going for the big boy! Alright! I've been extremely happy with my Max6 G2 4990 combo. Plenty of power in a K6! All the Scorched products I've got, are impeccable. Perfect machining. No experience with Vitavon.

Between Scorched and Vitavon, from what I've been seeing is that people are happy with both brands.

Scrapped the 1/ 24 build and switched up to 1/5. Didn't see that comming!!
What's the hold up order now. And find a really big field, your ganna need it and some! Empty those carts to fill your work area literally speaking!!

New to the k8 and VERY new to the upgrades for it.

I understand getting a order and big order at that right the 1st time. Had a baja 5b ss kit. It quickly took over the coffee table!

You will be able to Dig Holes to the center of the earth with that 560kV im sure.


The BT ESC is so cool to have. Im sure it does lots of data logging. I made sure each Castle ESC got one too.

That 1/5 with that motor and weight will change the landscape. From nice and tidy to to recked and ripped up! The fields will never look the same.

Be careful when your in gravel or Rocky ground. Do not take off away from yourself. You might lose a tooth or two. I got a dime size rock to the side of my face from my Baja 5b ss with the esp 30.5 new generation tourqe monster championship ported, stuffed crank and cpi center pipe and 813 carb rpm 19,500. Scary how far it can send rocks. And I launched her 10+ feet to the right of me. And yours is brushless

With the Hostile MX tires and the military hummer and the mx front wheels were never on the ground on throttle slicks or MX knobbies. The Hostile MX just destroyed everything under them. Real car rubber to not hobby grade rubber.

With these 1/5 foamless wheels?

Dam you could do light to medium construction digging for pipe work with those. And take a tooth out.
