Max 6 G2 1650kv esc motor combo vs Castle xlx2 1260kv esc motor combo

Hey Guys,

I was wondering what esc motor combo to go with. These both seem very similar besides the slight price difference. Which is better? Thanks for the help.

I was planning using it for speed runs (Probably typhon 6s or limitless)

The 1260kV motor from castle is not an efficient RPM/on-road performer like their 1650kV offering. Plus it limits your gearing options, there’s a reason it’s been on sale forever.

Agreed, that's a whole different can of worms than a $200 Max6g2 combo.

The HW 4990 was on a huge Black Friday sale before it sold out, either 65 or $75.

Ok thank you all I think I will go with the HOBBYWING max 6 just because of the price difference and it seems that it has about the same performance.
