Mega Fury tyre alternative

Now here's a thought,has anyone tried running 17mm wheel hex adaptors on their Fury in order to run 1/8th scale buggy wheels/tyres? The reason I ask this is because I already own tyres in 1/8th that are designed for running on Astro and grass,which will give me more running options.

I've got the set on order,but it's on the old slow boat from China,so who knows when it'll arrive.

Basically most 1:10 SCT tires are 1:8 buggy, at least for racing that is

The adaptors came through a lot faster than I was expecting. You'll need to replace the front plastic drive hexes with 6mm alloy ones though,as the adaptors bind on the hubs otherwise.

I'm currently running 1/8th Kyosho buggy wheels with Komodo Dragon 2 tyres and I can now flip the truck with the grip that these have.(They're old tyres now,I'm not even sure if they're still in production,they're 5 years old.)

Found these duratrax tires....any thoughts?

I run on hard dirt short course with loose dirt in corners.

Looks like they are 41mm by 108 mm. The stock sidewinders are 48mm by 111 I believe....Any thoughts feedback would be appreciated
