It probably doesn't need it but it definitely looks better with that finish nearly cooked off & replaced with some lovely carbon. It's some decent metal under there even for a cast part.

Seriously, if Arrma gave us spurs that looked like this instead of that pathetic coated stuff that trx uses maybe they would be less likely to explode when they eat rocks.

It seems decent for HR, but I'm more surprised that the adjustment nob is 24mm, it's completely assembled & rdy to install, & that they actually included 12.9 screws. I'm kinda ticked off at myself that I only bought 2, now I'll need 2 more ;)

Also the stock saver is 80g while this one is 52g so that's taking quite a bit of weight off the output gear.

Nice looking piece!

That right side looks like its got way too much toe out.
It's turned completely to the right in the SS, actually both sides are toed out more than stock. It turns so much better like that it's unreal.

Nice. Thanks for sharing. I’ll be ordering a couple of the HR servo savers. Bunt 2 servo already because of the stock one locking up.

I may have found what the O8S needs, smaller gears & donuts

OK, everything about the stock servo setup is junk. Now the arm is flexing around the saver & getting stuck . . . & the pathetic M3 screws are breaking. So I'm done with all of it. M4 rod ends, bolts, & nuts to the rescue. All grade 12.9. I used 2 M4 rod ends, a cut 25mm screw, & a few nuts for the link. I also lined it up perfectly with the bell crank.
