No new news here, gentlemen. I had an appointment at 7:30 am this morning for my CT scan. Iowa City's about an hour away from my dad's house, so we left at 6. Turns out tho that my appointment had moved to next month, September 14 at the same time. So disappointing, not to be told of this change at all, paper work all had me down for today.
Good news did come along tho, my medicaid card finally came through so I can start paying off that $180,000 bill coming through university hospital.

I would talk with someone at the hospital payment processing department and try to negotiate down on the bill.

We did that when we had a major wreck and the hospital and ambulance bills was eventually reduced.

Sorry to hear about the rescheduling, it never seems fair that they can do that without notifying you, but if you need to cancel at the last minute they bill you for it. Good news is, it won't stop you from making more progress.

Sorry for the long delay fellas, I dropped my phone in the swimming pool!! Everything out here is super far away, so just getting back to installing all of the apps on my phone. I'm just kinda waiting for next week to get here, I'm going on a trip west, for some food, golf and camping fun with Jay and company.
My feelings are getting better and better everyday, still some latency with my right fingers. Still some trouble getting the words to feel freely from my stupid mouth too. All just part of the process...

Excellent. And BTW, I’ve totally used the “dropped my phone in the pool” excuse multiple times.
And if you ever totally figure out the “trouble getting the words to flow freely from your stupid mouth” please let me know. I’ve suffered from that particular affliction for most of my adult life.
