For anyone not aware, replacing the castle switch is super easy. Six dollar part and 30 second install.

yes sir absolutely! I didn’t because I went thru 2 of them and decided heck with it. Every time I washed the rig the switch would fail!

I’ve heard that from others but my switches have held up great

Either way, I didn’t want potential buyers to think it was difficult to replace like with most other manufacturers.

For anyone not aware, replacing the castle switch is super easy. Six dollar part and 30 second install.

Those simple 2 wire CC switches fail easily. Water mud and dirt get into them easily and they fail. Sometimes they can fail when bashing and you lose control of the rig! Worse case scenario that does happen.
A common problem and some guys just delete the switch altogether. What you have there. It can be replaced with an OE one if you want.
Just that you can source a much better robust durable switch if you want one.
I myself would source a better switch.
