I don't run castle motors. Will let others chip in!Any suggestions on a heat sink and fan combo for the 1717?
Its taken a pounding mate - really good purchase!Grimbles your EXB build was awesome! I ordered the roll cage and wheelie bar you should be getting a kick back from them!
Thank you Cheez I’m looking forward to finishing it up and it’s first bash.Have fun and enjoy your MEXB. Arguably it’s close to the top of the food chain
Looks like a nice build. For the 1717 heatsink, I like the K8S heatsink, but it’s hard to find.New to RC starting with a Mojave EXB build. Decided to do a Castle MMX8s and 1717 motor combo with a Savox 2290 steering servo, a Spektrum DX5C receiver with a 6100AT transmitter.

Thanks Johndilly1974 I didnt realize I had the receiver and transmitter incorrect. Speaks to my lack of experience with RC trucks. I picked this up because it’s something fun to do in quarantine. I found through internet research that Arrma is a very durable product and most of what I’m doing is from what I’ve learned on ArrmaForum.Looks like a nice build. For the 1717 heatsink, I like the K8S heatsink, but it’s hard to find.
Also, you have your receiver and transmitter part numbers swapped in your OP.
The Kraton 8s heat sink and fan work great. Just have to modify it slightly to get it fit!Any suggestions on a heat sink and fan combo for the 1717?
