I would happily do all your soldering for you, but it'll take me some time to get over to you..😉👍🏼

Brandon aka Innovation RC has a good video about soldering
Appreciate it,I feel like I must learn, didn't have problems till I started pulling over 350amps an the 8mm are harder for me...research,patience ,an practice an ill get it..talk to castle tomorrow to try an figure out problem an resolve then try again.

Today I finally got the first pass down the road with this build. Did pretty well. First pass I got into it late and heavy and lost traction and ended off road, but no damage was done. Second pass was a little more exciting as it did a double backflip at 100mph and stuck the landing, drove it back, but lost the GPS on the road, so it didn't count as an official pass. Third try I decided not to run into the headwind and made a clean 107mph pass. I know that I didn't get on full throttle long enough and it might have had 110mph in it, but after the first two passes, I was reluctant to push it beyond what felt safe. I also heard a fluttering sound as it whizzed by and that made me back out earlier than necessary. It was most likely the loose windshield. Next step is fixing the aero issues that keep it from staying planted and in control. Planning on front or rear (maybe both) wings to help give it some downforce.

I'm eating my words about you keeping it strait 🥴..great job setting truck up..awesome pulls!!!!!make some easy changes an 110s..👍👍
I know for sure if I went back to 17mm hexes and ran BSR foams, I could tuck the tires inside much easier and lower the body much more, and pick up 10-20mph real quick. I may end up doing that at some point, but I have another trick up my sleeve. I am going to try something soon and see if it works. If it does, I will be able to full send this thing soon. I know I have gearing on hand to get to the 150's and the thing holding me back is aero.

So after the maiden run I knew aero was going to be a challenge. I left some speed out there due to having to baby the throttle to keep the nose down. Here is my response.

Had to do a little CAD work

Now that's a design I can back up any day. Get ready for the cavalry to come in and give it every name in the book. I call it damn good looking and she should stay glued down in the front now. FYI, ii shaved the bottom lip of both of the outside fins so it sits more flush, then added a strip of Gorilla tape to make sure no air passes under.

Yeah I might just narrow the front splitter to get the wing flush. Or I could trim the vertical lower sides of the wing to flush fit it as well. Or I could notch the splitter. For now I don’t mind wind between the splitter and wing as the splitter continues behind the wing.
