I've ran 5 3s battery packs through my new Mojave Grom BLX and the rear tires are already bald, and I tried to drive nicely too. Did a couple of speedruns.

I've rotated the front tires to the back. Now I need new wheel recommendations, specifically on-road tires since I mostly run on pavement/asphalt. I've seen people run 1/10 65mm touring wheels on these but they seem too large in a diameter for my taste, anything else I can try? The stock wheels are 58mm/28mm/12mm Hex.

If you’re running mostly asphalt drifts, use them until they wear through and have a new set to swap when you’re actually off road. Otherwise, check AliExpress and EBay to find an appropriate substitute. Not a lot available with foams that will withstand the abuse and wheel speed a Mojave endures, especially on 3S. Fortress are cheap and the best option.

Man I don't know about the Fortress tires but with shipping they're ~30$ a set. Looks like I go through 2 tires every 2 days :D I ordered some cheap 20$ on street touring wheels, hopefully they last longer

These? Let us know how they perform 👍🏼

I saw those but they are overpriced imo. I got these:

Got similar once for my son. The tires balloon like crazy at 100% with the stock lipo. I did glue them on the rim. Without glooing they won't even stay on the rim.

I guess I have to look for other cheap alternatives.
On 3s they baloon a bit too much, but hey, more top speed 😀 They basically act like a CVT gearbox, the faster you go the taller the gear gets
