Finally got around to building a bulletproof rear diff with M2C cups and installing M2C driveshafts...
Now I got to do the fronts!

Finally got around to do some wrenching today. But I forgot to take pictures. 🤷
I rebuilt the front diff with the last of 3 Arrma alu diff cases, M2C diff cups and piano wire diff cup pins. I also put in the M2C front drive shafts and replace the outer axle shaft because I stripped the screw inside of one a long time ago and never got it out. I went through the whole truck and tightened/ Locktite on anything loose. Then I moved the battery tray back so the truck stops nose diving on me on jumps.
Prior to all of this I broke a front tie rod. I did a "tie rod mod" to keep it from happening again. I got a set of 4mm rods instead of the factory 3 mm rods. I drilled out the tie rod ends to fit. I haven't had much time to drive it since because the front drive shaft popped out on the first run and messed up the stock diff cup but so far so good.

The only things left to do now is upgrade the center drive shafts, upgrade the center chassis brace with a Custom RC Racing Aluminum brace and upgrade some of the 6061 Hot Racing parts with 7075 parts from M2C, Vitavon, Treal or Basherqueen. I want to upgrade the fans but it's a basher, not a speed run truck. I also want to change the body out so I can use 6s Backflips. Probably going to pick up a Fireteam body eventually. However, my next purchase for it will be some high end 4s packs, as I am still running two 3s packs at the moment.
I can't believe I have over 2 years into this build now.. Time flys!!!

Still wrenching on this build. I started it years ago, before the Fireteam came out. At one point I was going to sell it but couldn't bring myself to do it. So I revamped it a bit and went with a Fireteam body.
I added a Perfect Pass 56g Servo. I pulled the center diff to put in M2C cups and I went with earplugs instead of oil. I also picked up some Batteries to run it on 8s and changed the gears a bit. The only parts on this that are stock are the the tower to tower brace, the shock bodys and springs, arms, rear hub carriers spur gear, the front upper pin block, front and rear diff housing input cups, the front and rear center drive shafts and some nuts, bolts and plastics. I would like to go through and replace most of the Hot Racing parts with M2C or Vitavon or Basher Queen stuff. But only if it bends, breaks or wears out. I have waaaaaay too much time and money into this one already! 😆😆😆
I'm still working on getting the body mounted. Some stuff doesn't fit together right. I will have to modify it a bit and will probably have to ditch the T-Bone front bumper but not sure if I will do that or cut the cage on the body to fit yet.
