As you can see in my introduction I own a Mojave for some time now.
The car already has quite a few upgrades but more upgrades are on the way from the UK. :cool:

Zoals je kan zien in mijn introductie heb ik al een tijdje een Mojave.
De auto heeft al een behoorlijk aantal upgrades, maar er zijn meer upgrades onderweg vanuit de UK. :cool:

No diff problems and origional suspension arms. Your's look brutal with those big suspension arms! :cool:
The diff oils are replaced with thicker oils and the suspension have been upgraded with stronger springs and thicker oil.
Have been running it only on 4S though. Upgrade 6S Lipo's have arived.
 
Had 6.7inch backfips under it an it was a blast.tank that would go throu an over just about,but I kept blowing diffs nonestop.so now I run smaller tires.heres older pic on BF.i swapped the suspension on notorious and mojave

it was strait easy swap with no modifications.direct swap!!truck is alot more stable and alot more suspension travel.id never go ba k to stock setup.here it is today,a tire shredder,destroyed belted duratrax in this video

No wonder you kept blowing diffs with 8s. That thing is a beast! 😵
I like how wheely happy it is 🤠
It usely only gets 6s.i got some exb diffs,I plan on installing and trying the big backfips again, so busy at work an other builds.ill get to it
 
Its time to tell what upgrades I have already done on the mojave and why (future upgrades later on). :geek:

Het is tijd om te vertellen welke upgrades ik al gedaan heb op de Mojave en waarom (toekomstige updates komen later). :geek:

Wheels are replaced with big 3.8" Louise tires becouse I mainly drive in the forrest and need the ground clearance.
In the rear Louise RC MT-UPHILL 3.8 1/2-Offset and in the front MFT ST-UPHILL 3.8 1/2-Offset. The rear tires are a bit bigger than front gives a nice look.

De wielen zijn vervangen door grote 3.8" Louise banden omdat ik voornamelijk in het bos rij en de rij hoogte nodig heb.
Aan de achterkant de Louise RC MT-UPHILL 3.8 1/2-Offset en aan de voorkant MFT ST-UPHILL 3.8 1/2-Offset. De achterbanden zijn een beetje groter wat een mooi gezicht is.

Becouse of the big tires and needed ground clearance the shocks springs has been replaced with stiffer onces. 70mm 1.5Nmm #ARA330640 in the front and 110mm 0.63Nmm #ARA330642 in the rear. Shock oil has also been replaced with a thicker oil. And to keep the shocks clean I installed the Dusty Motors Shock absorber covers.

Vanwege de grote banden en benodigde rij hoogte zijn de schokbreker veren vervangen door stijvere veren. 70mm 1.5Nmm #ARA330640 aan de voorkant en 110mm 0.63Nmm #ARA330642 aan de achterkant. De schokbreker olie is ook vervangen door een dikkere olie. En om de schobrekers schoon te houden heb ik de Dusty Motors Shock absorber covers geïnstalleerd.

To keep dust and debri out of the vehicle I installed a Dusty Motors XXXL cover wich is great!

Om stof en rotzooi uit het voertuig te houden heb ik de Dusty Motors XXXL cover geïnstalleerd, welke geweldig is!

Next installment done is the Fastrax Aluminium servo mount for added stiffness.

Of course the crap STX2 radio ;) and receiver has been replaced with a Spektrum DX3 radio and SR315 reciever and complemented with a Spektrum Voltage Protector.

Natuurlijk is de troep STX2 radio ;) en ontvanger vervangen door de Spektrum DX3 radio and SR315 ontvanger en gecomplementeerd met een Spektrum Voltage Protector.

I used to run on gensacearespammers 4S 8000mAh 80C but this lipo is heavy!

I gebruikte voorheen een gensacearespammers 4S 8000mAh 80C maar deze lipo is zwaar!

Therefore I replaced the lipo with two times a Spektrum 6S 3200mAh 100C. Saves about 250g (8.8oz) on the Mojave. :geek:

Daarom heb ik de lipo vervangen door twee keer een Spektrum 6S 3200mAh 100C. Dat bespaard mij ongeveer 250g (8.8oz) voor de Mojave. :geek:

Nice build,are you aware of kraton hubs and steering block swap.give ya 1/2in on each side if tire clearance will allow.im the same weighting every thing try to save grams here an there.my notorious with 2 4s packs weights 10.3oz..its stripped

Decided to seal all carbon fibre parts (edges) for added durability. The cayno acrilic vapors leave a white haze on the carbon (n) but its not to bad...

Besloten om alle carbon fibre anderdelen te sealen (randen) voor langere levensduur. De secondenlijm dampen laten een witte waas achter op het carbon (n) maar het is niet heel erg...

For comparison I weighed the old and new (sealed carbon fibre) parts.

Voor vergelijk heb ik de oude en nieuwe (sealed carbon fibre) onderdelen gewogen.

I didn't relies carbon was that much lighter. Great info.i weigh everything an try to keep my rigs light as possible. Better performance and less breakage imo.if you rip 1/10 weight really shows its ugly face an shows you how it affects everything on ride.your build is going in a nice direction 👌 can't wait for more
