Senton Motor and Pinion

Hi,

I purchased a new motor Castle Creation 1415 w/5mm shaft (2400kV) and I have various pinions sizes I purchased from Jennys RC : 13t, 15t, 18t and 20t. None of them fit the shaft of the motor. Is that normal? I bought a hobbywing combo and did not run into this issue. Just wanted to know your thoughts on how to resolve this.

It may have to do with the "safe-d5" shaft/pinion arrma uses. I'd try buying a different 5mm pinion from somewhere like amain or LHS.

The Spektrum Safe-D pinions only fit on Spektrum motors. Even though the shaft on both motors is 5mm the Safe-D pinion has a unique "D" shape cutout that only fits the Spektrum motors.

I made the same mistake buying a safe d pinion thinking it would fit my Surpass motor. Nope.

Same issue with my Surpass motor. Live and learn. Damn Arrma and it's proprietary ways.
