Everyone always says to use blue locktite when screwing into metal. Well the heatsink shrowds are metal but there is no hole per say to screw the fan into. Should you use locktite anyways? Thanks!

If there is no hole... how are you screwing it together? Can you post a picture?

I wouldn't worry about trying to use loctite on the fan screws

Hey Mr Duke! Thanks for the thoughtful reply. You are an asset to arrmaforum. A+ for you buddy!
Agreed. Send it.
So eloquent! Aimlessrc, I hope you arent aimless in life as you are a great asset to AF.com. Great job, mod status granted!

I know what you're talking about -- threadlock won't do anything for that as it's not actually threaded but just pressed in, so no need to use it.
Right on brother. Have a good weekend!

Those heatsink fans won’t need TL. I just finished upgrading my motor fans in my Typhon 3S with Hobbystar Turbo fans and boy do those things move some air!!! I’m running the BLX120 and an R6GS, not some high voltage BEC or anything. I have two of them on the motor. Stepping up to a 27T pinion for a speed run and need the cooling.
