Thanks, that’s the route I might have gone, but I already got the dual fan Powerhobby mount and a couple Rockets. Hopefully it’ll be good!
If it's working thus far for mine, yours will be golden! Those Rockets blow like a....err...hurricane. Yeah, hurricane!

Looking at the gearing chat earlier, should I be concerned running a 34t pinion on a 40t spur?
Probably doesn't help that my rig, Senton 6S fully upgraded with Max 6&HW1650kv is overweight at 16.2 lbs. Oh, and running 8s too
Yeah that might be a little tall hahahaha. I guess you could try it and see. I gear mine up to 24/46 but it's not like i'm on it wide open all the time. Most of the time i'm at 1/4 to 1/2 throttle unless i get a good open spot. How are you fitting the 2 4s batteries? That's some weight there too and if they aren't too big on capacity they may drain pretty quickly.

Already tried. Only shut down due to heat once. The very first run I got maybe 5 minutes before ESC shut off. Some smart investigation work revealed that I forgot to plug fans in, lol. Every other run since then ended with LVC(or fire or flips)
My current batteries are HRB 4S 6000mahs. I was stacking them at first but since modded my HR battery mount with carbon fiber plates to lower center of gravity by using side by side mounting now

I have videos in my thread.

Looks like you got your fan sitcho sorted.
For future reference……….A heatsink and 50mm fan.

FYI…….. If you were to run this Heat Sink on the 4985 the smallest pinion you would want to run is a 19T to ensure you had the clearance to the centre diff drive cup. If you were to run a 22/23T you would clear no worries.
I did remove 1 fin so the HS would rotate far enough around so the flat part of it was within the area of the drive cup. I used multi grips on the Heat Sink to hug the motor as tight as possible. She did grab but with a little force it would slide, so I secured a bolt to the rear chasis brace that was long enough that it would sit in the fin and not allow the HS to move. No way you’ll get that supplied clip to bite as the HS has to be opened up to fit around the motor.
Flogged it up and down the street for 10mins or so and could feel the temperature in the HS. With the fans moving the air around I reckon she’ll cool the motor.

The Heat sink is an option but there was abit of stuffing around to get it on. The 50mm fan goes alright but i wanted to go with a different setup on the Kraton.
These fans definitely circulate the air!!. I’ll end up running all 3 on a 3s LiPo.

Note:
With Rockets, the same size/models seems to come in different RPMs and even re-branded. The one constant similar feature is the aluminum body that makes it stronger and even acts as a heatsink itself. Now honestly, I'm not even sure there is a difference.
I've seen 16k, 21k, 28k, and 32k. This could be sellers not knowing or being fraudulent for all I know. But the same can been seen with the difference in voltages for the DS3235 servos. I got the 32k rpm fans and only hope I'm getting that.
I don't think fan for heat sinks do spins at those RPM.. At 32000 RPM you are in propulsion jet territory... I would believe more 3200 RPM, especially the fan from China... Not sure if they make those little size, but if they did, Maglev would be my first choice...

Also, the design and number of the blades is far more important than the actual speed. Most fan do advertise on the box the CFM (Cubit Feet per Minute). That is the only real figure that can be used to accurately judge a fan... RPM doesn't mean much...

What that mean, is that a fan could displace more air at 3000 RPM than another one at 6000 RPM due to the design...
