Motor size

Im thinking at buying a 1/6 scale castle creation 4-pole sensored brushless 2028-800kv motor for my limitless. Ive done measurements and i think it will just fit. Has anyone else ran a 1/6 scale motor and was it easy enough to mod/install

If you want to fit the 2028 from castle, you have to flip the motor mount 180° and remove a battery tray to make room for the big can of the motor. It will not fit stock location.
I have a hobbywing 5687 in it which just fits right, the castle 2028 is about 113mm long, no chance to fit in stock location. Pic for reference, the HW5687 in my limitless.

Yeh i know about flipping the motor mount and removing battery tray etc . ?? But other than that should the monster go.

You'll also need a 30mm motor mount (insert)
Best mount you'll find is from @PPS-RC (http://pps-rc.com)

This won't fit since it's for the Kraton 8s motor mount which is larger than the one from the limitless.

Yes. Plenty of good reviews from owners on here, mine's still stuck in delivery because of corona, but that's the one you want

I ordered both, but you'll need the 30mm one for the castle 2028
Just had the small one if I somewhen decide to put a smaller motor again.

There's this too > Arrma Mount < but you would still have to flip the motor.

I am slowly building my limitless.

I have the pps mount for my kraton but it just might go into the limitless now.
