I've come to the conclusion I hate soldering these connectors Male or female. After I'm done soldering I have trouble getting the cap on. I'm waiting on a order I placed for more of these. A couple didn't come out that well so I need to redo them.

the qs8 I found to be much easier to solder than most. It’s always helpful to plug in an opposite plug to keep it straight, then use generous amounts of solder to tin it, once you have the recepitcle half full, a quick touch of the iron and you can place the tinned wire right In and it will stay tight. I have much better luck with it than say xt90 plugs.

So Back on track ,got the Connectors soldered onto the batteries and the ESC finally. Today I installed a rear drive shaft support and swapped the stock motor mount out for a PPS motor mount .

Now I'm waiting on Aluminum Front and Rear chassis supports. I also orderd a Flysky 10 channel duel antenna receiver to try out with my Noble transmitter.

Looking good, can’t wait to see this glory when she’s done 👍🏻
Me too.

Unfortunately I'm struggling to figure out how to power the fans on the motor. I picked up a adapter cable that plugs into the balance plug on my 4s batterings. When I plug them in they spin up then slow down and stop . The batteries I was testing on have a storage charge on them so I would assume they have enough charge to run the fans for a couple minutes at least.

So after tearing half the rear end apart I got the Carbon Fiber Rear shock tower installed.

Next up will be the Darkside Studios Skid plate protector. I also Received my FastEddies Ceramic Bearings so I can now put together the TI drive shafts and get them installed.

So got a lot done today. Started off putting the Darkside Studios Skid plate protector on.

Then re-installed the frontend then the RC Speed Monster skidplates.

Installed the Scorched parts Ti Center Drive shaft Pinocchio spoolset with Fast Eddie Ceramic bearings. That was a pain to get it installed . I had to sand down the front chassis brace so that the front drive shaft would clear it to let the spool drop into place . Beautiful pieces of metal .

Ok so I had to re-run a lot of the wiring and move the FTR10 receiver. The receiver is to big to fit in the receiver box and the body was hitting the receiver where I had it mounted on top of the RX box . Now I can actually get the body to sit flat so it can be secured.

Next will be Setting up the B-link and checking the settings in the esc . Need to set the limits on the steering servo and then balance the wheels. Just about ready to go.

So did a little more today. I replaced the screws that were securing the motor fans and flipped the fans so that they draw air away from the motor. Next up was putting some protective sheathing over some of the wiring to neaten things up a bit and protect them. Also added a GPM rear brace

And lastly I drilled some holes in the upper A arms so that I have easy access to the front droop screws.

Next will be installing the Front GPM , I picked up some new Droop screws that won't dig into the chassis. Also need to pull both the front and rear diffs and rebuild them with the new aluminum Arrma ones I picked up and fill them with the 1,000,000 diff fluid.

How did you get the fans to fit my fans hit in between the motor and chassis plate. I’m running the 1717 combo.
I too have the 1717 combo, I designed and created this fan holder seems to clear everything so far. I just hang it off of the stock brace.
