Arrma RC's
  1. Fury
  2. 4x4-Mega
I recently picked up an Arrma Fury in excellent condition, but, I know it will need some things, so, I'm going to do it little by little.

I am starting with Arrma AR220004 HD hinge pins, and battery clip retainer, as well as Traxxas 2336A blue adjustable links for the rear, but, my list also includes:
RPM front and rear arms
Hot Racing bellcrank, rear hubs, C-Blocks and steering blocks (now if only they came in blue)
HPI Blitz diff and shims
Arrma AR320200 Aluminum chassis plate
Jim's rubber shielded bearings
Arrma AR320165 wheelie bar
Eventually i plan to go brushless, but, for now, i am going to leave it the original brushed setup it came with.

Got a fury , love it , but ...... if its after 2014 it should be OK, before then they had gears made from cheap plastic , me and a mate both run fury's and we tried them on 3s , melted the gears on the 1st battery , tried everywhere to locate replacement metal gears and could only find the plastic ones , luckily I had spare arrma 2wd gearbox ,I stripped it and it contained metal gears that actually fit in my fury bls gearbox , my m8 is having a bit of trouble but has managed to find some losi gears and a few other parts from other models and has managed to rebuild his gearbox so hopefully they will both be running on 3s soon

Look for an HPI Blitz ball diff, HPI Z892 10x12x.2MM shims (typically, you need 2 packs of these), and 28T metal idler: HPI 86944 or similar (the stock Arrma 20T metal gear has also been showing up places lately as well), since the HPI one can be a nightmare to find. I have had several Arrma 2WD's, and this is actually my third Fury, and its what i did with each of mine. If you can find the parts, the Team Associated b4 diff will work as well.

The build madness begins. So far, I have installed rubber shielded bearings in the hubs, installed the Traxxas links in the rear, aluminum rear hexes, HD rear hinge pins, and installed the chassis plates. Oh, and picked up a used BLX slider from eBay to build a second truck with. My plan is to have one to do jumps and stunts with, and one to bash in fields. Next up for this one though is a mild brushless setup, 32P 57T spur and 17T or 19T 32P pinion.
