I can't believe how hard core you went on the paint job, excellent result, you must be happy with that!!! Congrats on the build, how does it drive?
This is my first painting job by the way! It could have been better but I am very proud.
It drives marvelously, tons of torque, wheelies at will, and hits somewhere over 60mph!
Looking to try a 34t/39t then maybe a 39t/39t. will let you know.
P.S: Difficult to control at high speed, better be in an open area with no one around.

Looks good! Damn good!

You are running a 34t pinion and spur? A 39t pinion and spur wouldn't change the results. It's still a 1:1 ratio. A 34/39 setup would be slower on top end, better low end torque.

How are your temps?

Yes I am running a 34t pinion and 34t spur.
Gotcha! thank you for the info. Just for my understanding if 1:1 ratio wont make any difference, hypothetically speaking, would 17t pinion and 17t spur get the same results?
As for temp, I am not hitting the thresholds I set on the sensors based on the manufacturers requirements (out of memory, 85°c motor, 80°c esc and 70°c batteries). I do double test the temps now and then using an infra sensor and it is usually around 60-65°c for most.
Nice rig dude!
Tx :)

That is correct. 17t pinion and 17t spur paired together will have the same 1:1 ratio that a 34/34 would. You may gain an insignificant amount of performance by going with the smaller gears due to less rotating mass. But probably wouldn't notice it. It would move your motor closer to center which is usually a good thing for handling though.

Thank you for the informative instruction :) I will stick with the 34t/34t then. Less spending :D

This was your first time doing a paint job like this?! That is amazing, it looks like something people with years of experience do so of it really is your first time that's extra amazing (still amazing even if it weren't your first) ;)

Honestly, it is my absolute first time :)
Not to brag about it or to show off. it contains errors and could be done better but yeah I was not expecting to succeed. Though it worked, even though I did many thing wrong, like painting the darkest colors last.
It took me about 3 weeks of researching how to paint, YouTube, tutorials, then looking for designs that I like and that represent the family members, then planing then....And here we are.
I am very happy, and even happier that people like it too.
Thank you for the compliments.
Ahh you meant CST. In your first post you put 500k.
Oops my bad
I will correct that

Not difficult at all and works pretty good (been tested on several occasion). it is straight forward and relatively cheap compared (check the photo) and I guess better than aluminum one that risks to brakes some more expensive behind it (my 2 cents)

Tx man!
And yes I was planning on keeping it stock but most essential parts got bent or broke over use :(

Yea that is what I keep hearing about anything aluminum lol that sucks oh well lol so, did you drill out the front holes of the Xmaxx bumper since they don't go all the way through or how did you do it I'm curious and what size nuts, washers and bolts did you use?? @madf78
