That looks amazing . Iv got one on order same colour should have it in about a weeks time . Cant wait!! If it looks as good as yours i will be very happy ? there is nothing better than the look of carbon fiber im jest a bit worried how durable the clear coat will be after a few crashes . I hate new bodys getting scratched up .Shame is its inevitable ?

To be honest it’s not very refined ... but strong and for sure bulletproof. I came from super bike racing where carbon parts are normal for upgrades so I know very well how it should be. Anyway it is overall ok for what I need it for. It has some blows in the coat and the layers are not very thigh together but strong enough to hold also the hell bashes. I am overall happy and for now I will use it in this way. I will repair all the imperfections when I decide to paint it.??

You're always going to get some aesthetic imperfections on a design with so Many right angles...

There's a lot of tight corners and sharp degree angles to contend with...

This... Coupled with the fact I'm using coloured carbon/kevlar weave.... Makes it incredibly difficult just to achieve the shape at all....

I always said.... These where design to be tough.... They just happen to look pretty.... But some flaws will occur somewhere at some point on a body.... Some less so... Some more so...

I asked the only other 2 guys I know that make carbon bodies for rc.... Both said they wouldn't even attempt half the bodies I'd done.... Due to the angles Involved.... They mainly stick to large scale stuff.... Less detail... Less compact detailing.... So I'm fairly happy with how they turn out...

Also don't forget... Both of the other gentlemen who make carbon bodies.... Will want the best part of $400+ from you for a 1/8 body..... I'm charging about $100...

And lastly.... Yeah there's no delamination on these kraton bodies... All layers are tight AF....?

Don’t miss understand me... overall it’s ok! I wished only it could me more defined but it’s ok so! As I said I will repair all imperfections when it will need some improvements after bashing and upside down landing or hard impacts, and of course I will paint it after so everything will be nice and defined?
