It worked. The rubberized undercoating needed time to dry in the back of wood stove. It began to Crack but not delay. Coated it with polly and its held up grate. Lots of snow bashing so it's got packed full inside and held up. I'm amazed as I thought after the fact it was such a bad idea.

I've been thinking on E600 to glue polyester cloth in, then flex seal over that and call it good. Should be somewhat thinner than the drywall tape method.

Can you post a pic of that truck with tires installed? How wide is it? Is it possible to tip it over even? Very unique!
