One day I was cleaning my guns and the cat was helping me so I turned on the laser sight from my pistol, and we were having a good time until Mrs Doom Saw us! Apparently my laser sights are not an appropriate cat toy.

Jeez, kinda getting late in the season for those guys to be out.
Half the traffic around here is farm equipment or anhydrous trucks goin 20 I swear.
This summer I seen one of those pull behind anhydrous tanks get t-boned by a teen on her phone. Girl had no idea ill bet what kinda bad situation could of happen. I mean she straight plowed the tank.

My 7y year old son would stare at that wall for hours. We only have two. My wife doesn't like them. She thinks they incite violence .

Why is Traxxas hated so much? They do have some decent rigs. I started with them. Now I like Arrma. Next step? Who knows. I still like some of my Traxxas rigs though. On the Traxxas forum, they don't want you to talk about any rigs, but Traxxas. To me that's a deal breaker. But I do have a few good ones. View attachment 331903My rig for the snow.

They got me into the hobby, and I still have a few. They’re not horrible, but I don’t know how anyone can run the Velineons on 3s without burning them down. They are not as rugged either, especially transmissions and gears. To be fair, they are still fun trucks and parts are cheap. But yeah, their website is the biggest joke in the RC hobby. Makes no sense either, with 50 gazillion rigs out there and counting.

Yeah, Mrs. Dude has given me grief for years about my hardware collection and steadfastly refuses to shoot. However, I was shocked a couple years ago when we were watching half the cities in the country burn down on the evening news and she asked how my ammo stores looked.
That said, I consider myself to be nothing more that a firearms hobbyist. I don’t hunt anymore, and have never lost sleep over an “us vs. them” situation or worried about anyone storming my property. I just like guns, and I love to shoot. But I’m pretty sure word is out in my neck of the woods that the Dudes property often resonates with the sounds of multiple calibers in a rapid fire manner, so I doubt if any locals would choose my house for anything nefarious.

Traxxas forums are owned and operated by Traxxas so it makes sense that they wouldn't want people talking about other products. But they are complete something that rhymes with brass poles about it. They even get butthurt about talking about Castle or Hobbywing products from what I have heard.

They only hurt themselves with acting the way they do. They're like a jealous gf. Mention another girl or anything related and its on..
I'd rather have a girl/brand that doesn't care if I've got a little something on the side. Sharing is caring.

Traxxas sucks if you don't have an open mind. I have several brands of RCs including a few Traxxas models and they are very good, virtually indestructible, pretty easy to work on and parts are cheap.

Things I don't like about Traxxas is like @gotnitro about the lawsuits, they play dirty pool to intimidate small vendors. I've heard anecdotal stories about the Traxxas sales people being slimy and forcing inventory.

Every brand has the good and bad.

Most of my Traxxas vehicles have been pretty good, better than some of my Arrmas in fact. The only one I had issues with was the Mini E-Revo, they list it as being 3s capable but it isn't the thing just destroys itself on 3s even with $500 in upgrades. I have only been running my mini Summit on 2s and so far the only thing I have managed to break was one of the bumper springs.


So get this. My work is having a Christmas party in December. They have 2 signs next to each other, the first sign on the bottom says employees only, then in the middle of the second sign it says Music and Dancing. Are we supposed to dance with ourselves? It's a major sausage fest because well it is a factory.

I was in that forum 15 years or so ago and they were the same way. You’d get banned for “no reason” so I had many names.

I've never had tranny issues with any of my 2wd vehicles, hell my Stampede is like 10 years old and still on all of the factory tranny gears, I think those are the only parts that are still stock actually . I did replace the diff case with a Hot Racing unit and the gearbox case with an Rpm one like 2 years ago though.
