I am impressed. 30mph. On the grass. All stock and with 4S batteries.
What gearing are you using @f1andy83
Question - what kind of MPH difference should be expected if you went from 4S to 6S on the batteries?
Quite a bit, but it's going to heat up the motor and ESC a lot faster in the grass.
OH good point. Do people normally run these big cars on 4S or 6S? I mean when they are not racing.
I run 4s first then take out the big boys aka 6s and it’s seems like it’s double the power
I run both. That being said, all my rigs have high speed fans on the motor to keep the temps way down. Only 4S on grass and think surfaces. 6S on dirt, and street.
Speaking of fans I just put my yeah racing fans in do a couple of jumps and the little support for one of the fans broke don’t ask me how. They work really well so I rigged something last night now I need to test it. Not happy about it
Try these. Perfect fit, 0 issues so far with major abuse.
That’s what I have the little supports that hold the fan in the housing broke after landing a jump.
Oh don't use those. Just threadlock them down, and that should be good enough.
I don’t know what you mean. Maybe your not understanding what I’m saying.
I didn’t use the supports just mounted the fans directly to the heat sink.
Wow that motor is huge.
TP 4070cm 2200kv - it’s a powerhouse.
nice choice of motors, i bet its a beast in the Kraton.
