Still running mostly stock, upgraded most of the bearings and shocks. Added some reinforcement to rear of truck so it doesn't get eaten away same to roof of truck. Recently put the stock tires back on didn't like the duratrax for bashing, and it just doesn't backflip to my liking with the duratrax. Only breaks have been A arms due to hard bashing, rear driveshafts again due to hard bashing and not paying attention to slipper adjustment, and some plastic shock mounts. Been an awesome truck and definitely got me hooked!!

I started with the Big Rock, built a nasty Granite on 4s, went big with the Outcast 6s, and just bought the Kraton EXB this weekend! Tons of upgrades! It's an awesome hobby! I'm hooked!

Ya wish I had more money to play with lol. Next big upgrade looking at the Integy suspension kit to convert everything to aluminum over the stock plastic.

Be careful! I went crazy aluminum on my BR and it caused more damage while bashing. Hubs and steering blocks are good aluminum upgrades IMO. I broke a bunch of stuff when I was running aluminum on my body mounts and shock towers. Go with RPM arms!

Been a while since I updated the Granite build. Nothing special just replaced slipper assembly, changed out 15t pinion old one was pretty worn, had to cut input gear shaft to fit new v3 slipper so also cleaned and re lubed diff while it was off. Stoked I got to bash it has been down for about a good month. My dumb ass though didn't check to tighten up my motor mount screws being in a hurry to run it.. So driving in my driveway motor comes loose and eats the spur ?. Had a replacement thank God so all good 15 min fix.

So did a thing today.... Got suggestions to try out the 4074 2050kv motor with 26t so we'll see how it goes....

Some new shoes and some extra composite spur gears, one metal spur for my birthday gift? thanks Mom!! Granite should be good for a while besides some new bearings, have to pick some up soon..

New shoes on, they are the new v3 so already vented, they look way to clean though have to go dirty them up lol

Installed new steel spur gear & new bearings for slipper(Yes I added the extra slipper pad). Took out the 6s motor(too heavy and got hot on 26t) put in brand new 3s blx motor and 15t pinion. Have to straighten out a front shock shaft and be ready to bash.

Got some new shocks today, black friday had a good deal $30 for the set (ZD Racing). Think I might steal them and put them on my Red White and Blue Kraton 6s build though as they'd go perfect with it. But for now going to see how the Granite bashes with em, they feel nice and smooth have to see maybe tomorrow if I got light.

Oh and got my new ramp built today? still some more reinforcing to go but it's sendable?

Alright so Granite has been being neglected with the K6s running like a top and just getting the new v5 Typhon. Fixed the snapped steering bell crank and tightened up the front end, newer v3 wheelie bar installed. Also slapped a bunch of fresh decals on it the other day and finishing touch just installed the gifted roof skids courtesy of @Camaroboy383 ??. My son should be stoked as now he will be able to bash with Dad again as Dad kinda turned his rig into our speed run rig?

Hey I was thinking of getting duratrax tires for my next set on granite. Why didn't you like yours? Aside from not backflipping as much

@StephenSchandelmayer few reasons on the duratrax, at least the set of sidearm mt's I got. They came way way off balance so bad the truck seemed it was going over woops or rollers up and down, didn't know to get 1/2 off set so ended up having to get hex extenders to even use them on the Granite, the tread pattern on the sidearms aren't the best either so didn't handle all that well. I've heard good and bad, guess it's luck of the draw sometimes? don't get me wrong some of the other styles are probably great but I didn't like the sidearms at all. Still have them sitting almost new don't use them, had them on my little Hosim 9125 but again didn't get much use

New bash video, having issues with the ESC wanting to go into LVC after only 5 mins. Did factory reset and used different 3s packs still getting the issue think it's time to call HH.
