Kraton My Kraton 6s v6 experience

Never owned a Arrma this is my first. Made this thread to document my experience from start to finish and for questions I may have.

So what you guys think about this battery? Thinking about ordering a couple.

The 2nd one is a HV, & check to see if it fits the tray. It will give longer run times at 7700mah. But it's a 22.8 & must be charged accordingly. I'd at least get a 6200- 6500mah or higher & a hardcase pack. Looks like both of those are softcase, which isn't bad. Hardcase lasts longer.

The first one is just fine but the second one is even better if your budget allows for it. More power, more run time and lighter weight.

Ace of Gens 6800 basher series & a Zeee 7200

SMC 6200 or 6300 I forget the exact mah. SMC is top tier and you cant really go wrong with them.

So the recomended battery size in the manual says 168mm x 48mm x 70mm. Guessing 48mm is the max width you can go?
And also is 2 3s packs better than 1 6s?

I don't think it makes much difference in two 3s or one 6s. Two 3s may stack slightly higher by a mm or 2, but probably still fit easily.

I believe the V6 has 80k F&R & a LSD center diff. Probably would give that a try as RTR first, see how it does. Great looking Kraton!

From what I’ve heard the V6 Kraton comes stock with the diff and shock oil dialed in pretty damn good!
As far as batteries I have the 7700 mah SMC 22.8V and it’s a really good battery. It’s lighter sets lower and the added voltage makes a big difference. It’s lighter than other batteries too. The ones you ordered are top of the line too. You’re gonna love that truck! If something breaks replace it with M2C where you can and it’ll get tougher and harder to break

I almost got the smc 7700 22.8 batts but my charger only goes to 4.20

Definitely love that there lighter. Im gonna upgrade my charger soon and buy some of those packs for sure
