Notorious My lipo battery keeps saying on the charger high voltage.

i haven't had this problem before. it wont let me put in a storage mode either. it just keeps saying high voltage. this sucks trying to go out after dinner to cut up the track.. can anyone tell me whats going on. Thanks Counterweight.

Probe your balance lead contacts and see if one of the leads is broken.

Got a lipo cell checker?
What are the voltage readings?
Standalone DMM works as well.

jondilly1974 hit it on the nose the balence leads have a short.. it must of got cut up a little while bashing

I have this same issue and I have tried all the things I found so far unless the damage lead is under the plastic wrap around llipo..was reading this about the hvlipo and my charger had the ability to charge those. Curious if I take and see of this setting may atleast balance the cells so I can atleast discharge then it to a low cell count so I can revive IN NICAD mode.. or any other sugestions.. I've ran it til the esc shuts off and I still get a VBATT HIGH code on charger . When it starts to charge and the voltage starts metering on screen it will keep rising til it stops charging
