Arrma RC's
  1. 4x4-Mega
I'm sure everyone has seen monster Senton conversions.
Here's mine. I couldn't find anyone that makes longer body mounts so I made my own. I see people cut the body so the tires don't rub but I didn't want to ruin my senton body like that. I cut off the mounts tabs drilled them out & added long adjustable posts. Something that Arrma should have done to begin with. I went with a traxxas 3s velineon system as I got it cheap. Its just as good as the blx system with the dreaded bearing failure. I upgraded the stock shocks to 1/8 scale shocks. I added the center drive shaft brace I replaced the input gears to HD gears. I added the fortress Mt wheel set. I added a 1/8th size wing & added a wider bumper up front attached to the original bumper. I added fans to the esc & motor. I'll be rebuilding the slipper clutch but going with a steel 32p/.8 mod spur but still using the original slipper assembly, I'll have to fabricate pieces to make it work like the 3s assembly. Anyways here it is.

Looks awesome 👍 great work & yea body mounts i did the same except i used two plastic bic pens and put them on the bottom part of the body mounts

Cool! How does the 2-pole vxl 3s system hold up in it? Also, have you had worse parachuting with the raised body? If you get offset wheel hubs, you could probably stop the wheels from rubbing as badly. Also, Typhon/BRCC arms would make it wider. You would also need Typhon 3s/BRCC turnbuckles for that.

Thanks! You use the bic pens as spacers?

The 2-pole holds up just fine, it was heating up a bit so I added the fans. The setup has been good. It actually sheered the teeth off the stock mega spur. It actually doesn't really parachute but the fastest in clocked it at is 40mph not sure if its just the older velineon system that's not as powerful or a drained battery at the time I tested it but I'm happy with it, its much faster then the brushed setup, the tires balloon at speed, it hauls ass. I'm gonna replace the bearings in the motor. The wheels don't rub the way I have it setup. I wanted to make a monster setup as cheaply as possible so I left all steering components stock including the servo which I'm surprised is still holding up.

This how i used the bic pens it makes the base shaft longer more sturdy IMO & i put a bolt and nut where the body clip would go
