Kraton Need Help to decide about Arrma 6s Models

Ok . Thanks a lot. Now my decision are the Noto in blue . But my last choice are 4 or 6s I want to buy the car and the lipos. Can it do backflips over ramps on 4s? I'm not a speed freak.

Really I'm not sure. On 4s it might not get the wheel spin speed needed to backflip. It will on 6s.

Nothing beats that new car smell of an Arrma. Especially a new blue Notorious. . That's the model I bought. .

Ran my notorious on 4s last week.

I'll confirm that it will Not backflip off a ramp on 4s.

My ramp is 3.5ft tall and 45 degree if that info helps.
4s on stock pinion= no go.
Landed on the roof.

Honestly it's not bad on 6s. You can limit it to 50/75% on the controller if need be while you learn. I wouldn't spend the money on another 4s batt for mine so I won't recommend it myself.


Others are perfectly happy with them on 4s. I like wild rides though so what I call calm may not be what some consider it.

Little update. I've ordered an Kraton V5 . It was on sale with 4x 3s lipos. I think it's a great basher to. I'm happy and hope it's delivered on Saturday. Should I shim the the diffs instantly?

My opinion is to run a few packs first. New gears wear in and leave fine metal. It's better to do that and then get into them with fresh fluid/shim.
If you do the fluid right off you'll keep that "break in" metal in there wearing on stuff.

Oh and BTW, congratulations on the truck, your gonna love that beast

I think about to buy the exb braces in front and rear. Do you think this is necessary? And there are in front 118mm an 98mm . I don't know which to buy. There are different lengths.

Yes id get braces. Id recommend the m2c but if they're a little too pricey the exb are good.
Plastic braces on a basher are a no go for me. Cheap insurance against twisted/bent chassis

get the m2c chassis braces but your chassis will still bend if your doing high jumps I am on my second stock chassis and its only been on the car for a few months and its bent and dented all over

sorry pal but like I said if your doing 10 ft or so jumps it will bend you've got the best arrma though in my eyes m2c chassis is the way to go

A lotttttt of folks send them bigger then that without issue.

the notorious has a short wheelbase so it won't bend as easy I have 4 kraton 6s cars and bent all the stock chassis over the years but like I said if your not sending it you will be fine my stock chassis is like a banana at the minute but still using it cause I don't what to buy another m2c chassis already got 5

what do you mean I'm a good driver me

What versions do you have in the Kratons? V3, V5?

think a v3 2 v4s and a v5 the v3 and v4 have a few m2c bits and scorched and voltage hobbies bits on them the v5 has the EXB diffs and m2c chassis braces on my 2nd stock chassis as I had a spare but it seems to have bent easier than the first one. I am giving it some stick though will get another m2c chassis eventually never bent one yet on my other cars
