Kraton Need Help to decide about Arrma 6s Models

think a v3 2 v4s and a v5 the v3 and v4 have a few m2c bits and scorched and voltage hobbies bits on them the v5 has the EXB diffs and m2c chassis braces on my 2nd stock chassis as I had a spare but it seems to have bent easier than the first one. I am giving it some stick though will get another m2c chassis eventually never bent one yet on my other cars

the m2c chassis is piece of mine not bent one yet and when you install it the car feels more planted to me anyway you will love it

Hey guys. I need help. I want to buy a new Arrma. But I can't decide about the Kraton v5 , Kraton EXB V2 or Notorius/ Outcast. Is it OK to buy a Kraton v5 or will be there a new version soon? Are the EXB way better for normal use. I want to jump at ramps sometimes. Are these models good on 4s to drive ? Thanks for reading.

I own the outcast exb kraton exb and big rock and honestly I love them all they each have their high points. The outcast is a great stunt truck the kraton is big air as well as the big rock so kind of depends on what you wanna do if your hitting ramps I'd say kraton exb

you will love it I would say its the best arrma platform the addition begins try to find a good place to run it with some jumps to get the full potential out of the car I think its one of the most important things to owning a rc car

Agree wholeheartedly with this. Available bashing spots are key to what I buy now. Have two rigs that barely see the light of day because of bashing spots. But, a kraton is always in my weekly rotation. Does everything, well.

Is there any chance Arrma is going to release another 6s EXB version of the outcast? I haven't been around Arrma long enough to see how often they drop new models. After getting the K8 EXB for myself last month, kicking it's arss a few times I'm convinced that 6s EXB would be the perfect truck for my son. His bday is in September.

When did they discontinue that truck? It seems like you guys are serious into bashing so it doesn't make sense to me as to why they'd discontinue it in the first place.

they used to release them every year or so but its just random now the kraton 6s v5 has been out for years now without a revamp. think they have just put the updated esc in it

Ok, so they're not just sitting around selling old stock that they're still able to make money on....they're actually upgrading and improving their products to keep the consumer happy..... That's a good thing! Like anything with electronics in life, I was worried they say I got my K8 the new model would be out a week later....he'll either way I'm satisfied with it. I really do hope that a 6s outcasts EXB is in the near future.... That being said, if something doesn't come out before September would the most recent outcast survive a 12 year old.... As with all of his stuff (other RCs dirt bikes etc.), I tell him to hammer on it...use it like ya stole it because I'll fix it when it's broke. Sure it gives me an excuse to upgrade components but I'd rather spend an extra 250 or so to buy a model that's technically already upgraded and has a less likely chance to break.....

Trash anything but dada's guns and we're good, thermal scopes aren't cheap

Discontinued models sometimes come back. Couple weeks ago, the 3s Vorteks showed discontinued, now shows in stock. Who knows. Maybe they made a running change on the model / production line. Few months ago same thing with the 3s Senton.

As good as my 11yo is with an rc I don't think I'd give him a 6s outcast/notorious

Not if I'm paying for damages done by, or to the truck anyway


If your set on an exb outcast just build one.. all the parts are available from horizon. Here in the near I'll be switching my notorious to all outcast. We'll not the exb parts though. Anything exb specific I've already gotten better from m2c.

Everyone reccomends the kraton 6s and there is a reason for it I'm sure.... don't own one myself but it looks pretty great

Thanks . Oh no I'm not selling the v5 I've returned it to my hobby shop. The exb was out of stock at the day I ordered the v5. Now it was available and so I've returned the v5.
