Need shock cap help.

This is a bit unconventional, but I'm trying to mount 1/8 scale Arrma 6s shocks to my 1/10 Losi Rock Rey. The problem I'm running into is that I need more shock cap clearance at the shock towers. Is there a shock cap that is 'taller' at the eyelet? I think just a couple mm's would be enough for the cap to clear the tower.

Have you considered using longer bolts and spacers to get shock/tower clearence longitudinaly?

Yeah, I tried that but it was a no go. I would need an entirely different shock tower up front for that to work. In the back, the shock cap is practically captured by the tower and doesn't allow rotation of the shock body as the shock compresses. Really hoping I don't have to stick with the small diameter/volume shocks on this rig.
