I don’t think this is inappropriate, but mods feel free to remove if so…
I was hoping to get feedback from anyone in the area (VT/NH) who knows how to post firearms for sale locally, and where the heck to do it.
I’d like to advertise them, and then meet at my local FFL for sale and legal transfer, as is now required. I used to be able to put an ad in the local paper for handguns or long guns, sell them for cash and legally not have to do any kind of transfer or even know the name of the person who bought them! And I’m the first to admit that the old system was terrible, dangerous, and probably armed more felons than anyone else. But the new system makes it tough to advertise anything in your specific region. I’ve no interest whatsoever in going to gunbroker or any other online sale site, and I’m not shipping anything anywhere.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

@Dan B. take a look at armslist.com. Also check with your local gun shops. Many have boards that allow you to post pictures and info of your items for sale or will even take them in to sell on consignment.
Thanks. I haven’t looked at armslist, but have had nothing but bad experiences and frustration with GunBroker and that’s why I was inclined to not go down that path again. I’ll check it out.
And I only have one problem with my local gun shops: they don’t exist! 😂 I only have one local FFL (a local gunsmith) who stopped consignments and associated sales because he couldn’t keep up with demand. He literally had no time to work and devoted almost all day every day to trying to keep up with people filling his very small shop. He still happily does transfers, but that’s it. That’s why it’s so frustrating that I can’t just post pictures, ads and whatnot anywhere in my specific area anymore.
I will check out ArmsList, thank you for the recommendation.
