Big Rock Nero fun day

Had some fun today with my son and the rcs. Of course he ventured over to our muddy track. Bought him a used SCX10ii this summer to learn on after breaking a Walmart truck in an hour of use. The thing handles all kinds of abuse and it’s nice and slow for him. Amazing how good he is with it. He turns 3 this month. ?
The proline body on the Nero didn’t fare to well lol. Gonna buy a stock body next.

My son started early. Always reaching for my RC collection on the shelf throwing them around. My wife letting him while I was at work. He would get numerous ToysRus RC's and break them within a day. Then as he got older around 6 yoa he was given a Redcat by his Uncle. I was able to replace parts (sometimes) Hard to get. I bought the same one again and had spare parts. Now he is 10 and has his own collection of Crawlers, SC and even a Notorious 6S, which he runs at 6S.
I had the same PL body you have on your Nero. I had it on my Tekno MT and it shattered real fast. I even Used E6000 and sheetrock tape prior to running it. Made no difference. Fell apart in 2 weeks. That was a quick $85. down the drain. Try and get an Arrma body like you said.

Yeah man, first time I rolled the truck with this body it got a massive crack. Super pissed after all the time painting.
I glued and gorilla taped it up but the roof landing was too much for it today. Funny the old glued crack is still holding together. Lol

I feel ya. I had done one of my best paint jobs with several colors.$40. in paint alone. I knew it would get scratched. But never though that a PL body should shatter and crack in the most stupidest places like the bed/cab areas. I had to use Hot glue and more sheetrock tape. Now it is a shelf body.
