nero spacers and shock mounting holes?

hey guys! just joined here! my wife got me an arrma nero for my birthday coming up and i had a question about the included spacers that come in the parts bag. I'm new to this truck so please bear with me. what are the "u" shaped spacers for and do they help with anything? and i also noticed that the shocks can be moved in board. is it best to leave them at a factory set or move them in?

Run the truck for a bit with the stock settings and see if you need to change anything. The engineers who designed it did a pretty awesome job setting it up for all purpose use.

Snap a picture of the spacers you have a question about so we can tell you what they're for. Or look at the exploded parts diagram and see where the others go so you have an idea what they adjust.
