Notorious New 6s Owner, throttle reversed?

Hi all, new Notorious 6s owner - I've just got it out the box, checked all the ESC settings but the throttle is reversed?

On the transmitter I have to set the TH to R to get it to move forwards?

The ESC beeps twice after the long 5th beep which suggests the motor rotation is set to CCW, the 3 coloured wires on the motor to ESC all match up - anyone any ideas?

I've converted a HPI Trophy Truggy 4.6 to a Flux and upgraded all kind of parts but I'm having a little brain freeze with this one. All help appreciated

Yep throttle reverse is pretty standard for the Spektrum radios

Oh, that simple, thanks! Bit weird isn't it. Is the STX2 as bad as people say?

That and a servo would be something I would install before a battery. ??
