Big Rock New Big rock with new 3s battery flashing red light of ESC after run

Hi. Just got my new Big rock with new 3s 5000mah 35c overlander this morning.
I haven't used Lipo before.
I noticed it went slow at the end of the run, which I assumed was the end of the battery, but noticed a red flashing light on the esc, when I opened it up to take out the battery.
Is that normal?

Yes, it signals LVC (low voltage cutoff).

Great, thanks - just wanted to check. Wow its an amazing truck, coming from using brushed motors and NIMHS it blows them out the water
