My body is next to trashed. With all the duck tape and glue on it, it now weights about 0.5kg. I'd like to buy another body, to keep the weight down. I basically don't much care about the looks just that it is sturdier than the original. From what I gathered I should look for a lexan body. I know Arrma sells new bodies but they want 60EUR for it which is almost half a Gorgon.

Where and what body should I buy that also ships in EU?

I felt the same way about a new body for my Gorgie, didn't much care what it looked like.
Preferred cheap. :D

I saw a few people using crawler bodies from AliEx so I went that way.
I haven't fitted/painted mine yet but it looks/feels good and sturdy.

This is a pic I found on reddit of this body on the Gorgon:

I keep hearing forum members from abroad say what a challenge it is to get parts for a reasonable price, or even to get parts shipped to them in the first place. It makes you realize how lucky we all are in the U.S., as we can find virtually anything we want, click “buy” and have it on our doorstep in a day or two, often with free shipping.
Good luck, Euro friends. It does suck you have to deal with that in pursuit of a hobby. Especially when all you want is a body for your Gorgon, for crying out loud!

Yeah, it's definitely a bummer.
Here is Aus it's simply economy of scale... this nation has less people than California.
We pay more for everything.
The new Fury is $380AU=$255US here.

And then much of the coolest goodies come from the US/overseas and the post-covid shipping fees are horrific.

@Dan B. at least AliX sends to EU :)
Regarding Gorgon body, I also don't know which are compatible to mount on Gorgon and also do I need to buy a different mount gear?
I have no Gorgon, therefore I have no clue. Maybe @Xjeepguy could help? I think he’s done body swaps, but I can’t remember what, exactly.

That looks like a lot of work for something as a body that I don't much care for.
Any easier solution like buying a body and putting it into exiting mounts? Or perhaps mounts from Granite?

Easiest solution would be to just bite the bullet and purchase a Gorgon body from Arrma.

Anything else is going to take some modification to work.

Guess I'll stick with the original body then. Duck tape and silicone glue are holding it together, barring the extra weight, its holding well.
Painting is done by my 4 year old son :)
