Fury
Hi everyone, I am a new RC owner. I bought a Fury about 10 months ago and did not do much with it. Now racing is going I ant to get into it. So I raced my very first race yesterday and took last place it was terrible but I had fun. (Indoor Carpet) Now I am looking for upgrades to go and compete. I seen a guy post a video and I took a list of stuff he did...
J Concepts Bar Codes
Green compound
Slash 4x4 rims
Traxxas licking nut rims 7mm
Off jammin crt shocks
Blue stiff spring in front 40w oil
Rear 30w oil softer springs
Front tie rod captured, RPM-ball end
1degree camber front
1degree tow in front
4 degree rear camber
Savox 1258 servo
Hpi blitz diff
Z892 washers hpi

This video was from 6 years ago. What should I do? I did put a 17.5 brushless blinky system in it.

So I would invest in a fast servo and some good tires. If you have never raced besides one or 2 practice will be the most important upgrade

The steering geometry of the fury makes it tough to do tight turns. I would look for aftermarket parts for that. I know this from experience. Shocks and tires are key upgrades too.
