New Granite servo failed

Hi
Bought a brand new granite and the servo seems to have already stopped working. What is a good replacement? I don't want to end up having to change it again. From what i read the stock servos are junk

Buy a DS3225 servo and a Kimbrough 25T servo saver.

Yeah, they've got plastic gears and it's apparently stupidly easy to strip them.
I've heard good things about JX servos, you can get a 25kg for like $25 or something
