So a kraton 6s stock is around 11lbs stock 2050kv motor 50ish mph

Savage x flux is 13lbs 2200kv and they are claiming 62 mph
That seems like a lot for a 2200kv motor.
Dual motor mount design. With as tight of a space that is cramped in I hope there is room for a bigger can. Its gonna need it.

HPI Savage X Big Block Nitro was my first real RC. Still have it, and it runs well.

I'm not sure but, considering that Jason Dearden helped design the original Savage when he worked for HPI it would make sense that the Nero looks similar to the Savage. The Savage was released in 2002 nearly 2 decades prior to the Nero.

Nice summary of what’s available on the market, although you scared the crap outta me when the Kaiju was listed at $499! Still $429, phew.

HH might buy HPI, not really sure why, but they did acquire AKA when they already had Pro-line, so who knows.

Hopefully the prices are some kind of MSRP price and street/MAP price will be lower, else yeah, it will be a tough sell. I might buy one just for the hell of it, but I get my RC stuff cheaper than the average person.
