On a run yesterday my right rear wheel came off with the axle stud still attached to the wheel.

The screw inside the hub backed out and the wheel came out of the hub.

Check your screws.

Reassembled using thread locker and all seems well.

Did you break the u-joint to get to the screw?

Only option I had, my driver just touched it through the shaft half and I couldn't tighten it.

You shouldnt expect that drive shaft to last that long seeing how you separated it from the joint and stretched it out a bit you could throw a little heat at it and it could last longer other wise that joint is going to most likely keep popping out especially if you go off road or grass just get the right tools next time

I reassembled it the same way they did building it. There’s only one way it will go back in.

I think the point is that the joint is not meant to be taken apart once it leave the factory line. I pop these things all the time from bashing. Once you pry the apart and then again to get them together it will not be as secure as it was originally, which isn't all that great to begin with. Hopefully yours hold up.

Truck has held up very well. Spent the weekend racing my brothers rustler vxl and his broke 3x. The truck did surprisingly well on a short track too.
